Okay- Here goes nothing! I adore reading the blogs of my friends so I figured I would try this out. It will also keep me from bothering Jason about uploading to Lizziegraceland.com. Since he is a much more entertaining writer than I am, I hope to get him on board as well.
Mainly I wanted to share the photos of Lizzie's birthday- she is now 2 and VERY 2. When she is happy she is the most intelligent, lovely, charming little girl. When she is not happy she is a reminder that age 2 is a difficult time in life (for her and us). Jon, Frances, Cindy, David, Jason and I had a great safari party with Lizzie- she pranced about in her pettiskirt and loved her presents. Not to brag, but I think the princess shoes that I got her may have been the biggest hit. She loved her jeep and when she got in it she looked around and said, "where are my shoes?" I think she may have inherited the shoe gene (Aunt Hayley).
Tyler is treating us well- Caroline is an absolute angel and the most precious baby. She is just learning to sit up and constantly smiles and laughs. Sadly, she said "Da da da" the other day. Both of these girls said "Dada" first- seriously, who feeds you, kids? Show me some love. Jason and I are both working and the girls are at the church during the day. Lizzie is making friends and Caroline is a hit- other teachers come steal her because she is so sweet. Thursday mornings have become a special family time- I am off on Thursdays and Jason doesn't go to work until noon so we have been hitting the zoo each week (Lizzie chants "zoo zoo zoo zoo" the whole way there). Lizzie LOVES seeing all the animals and walking like a penguin, feeding the birds, hissing at the snakes... it is a fun morning. Jason also introduced her to doughnuts last week- so surprising that a Holman would love doughnuts. I will try to keep this updated and am now going to figure out how to load photos!
